80 degrees in January?

Who would have guessed it! It was 32 degrees this morning when I was out doing barn chores. I had to even break some ice out of the water buckets. This afternoon it was 80 degrees and I was out hosing down the alpacas trying to cool them down! That's Texas weather for you! If you don't like it, just hold on a minute. It's gonna change! :o)

What an absolutely gorgeous day. I spent most of it running errands for my parents and myself. I spent this afternoon meeting with the guidance counselor for my oldest son who is starting highschool next year. Oh my, how time flies. We've got his four year plan in order. Life just goes by to darn quick!

I have so much to be thankful for. I took a beautiful bike ride along with my three children today. It was the perfect weather. The chickens were happy running around the pasture, the horses took naps out by the back fence, and the alpacas romped around playfully as they got their bellies hosed down. Yep, I'd say that's a pretty nice day...
